Emergency Couple, Letting Go and Moving On – Ana’s Farewell Write Up on the Show

A kiss goodbye to Emergency Couple.....

Letting go is a step towards moving on and now that the drama has ended most of the EC fans are probably feeling  the withdrawal pangs right now and are trying to hold on to every news about the drama and the characters whom they came to love for the past 2 months.

In the subject of letting go and moving on how about learning from some of our fave characters from Emergency Couple.

Just like Chun Soo….

When we have a goal, may it be related to love, career or material things the first step is to go towards that goal. Career wise, Chun Soo’s goal  was to save lives and he was  doing really good at it as the head doctor in the emergency department. In love, he felt a connection with Jin Hee and though there were times when he seem to be undergoing a go or no go decision on pursuing Jin Hee, it was evident that he came to be fond of her enough to make that big decision to move forward. The only problem is when Chun Soo finally made the decision it was a bit too late (or maybe it was never meant to be  at all). So in relation to letting go, my point actually is that however good it may be to work on our goals we should know when to give it up……just like Chun Soo.

Just like Jin Hee......

I mentioned this in my earlier write up on EC, that Jin Hee seems  to be such a dull character at first but as the drama progressed she slowly came out to be a tough one. In spite of her age she worked her way up to becoming a doctor and in going towards this goal she worked her way out of forgetting Chang Min. She thought she has moved on but then fate was also set on giving her a second try on love, on Chang Min.

For Jin Hee to accept that Chang Min  is still  the one, she sort of went through some of the stages that people in grief go through.  She got angry with Chang Min for shaking her feelings again when she thought she already has move on. She denied that she still has feelings for him we cannot blame her for not being able to admit it right after all the pain he has caused her. But then in the end, she let go of all the past pain and accepted that she can give love a second try. Just like Jin Hee we should learn to let go of pain and in order to let in the things that can make us happy.

Just like Chang Min......

I was about to give up on the first episode of EC because of Chang Min’s arrogance but boy am I glad that I continued watching because by the end of the drama I finally see why Jin Hee has to run off and marry him in the first place. How can Jin Hee not fall for him with his naughty smile, suave moves and  gentleness that seems to contradict his proud character. Chang Min maybe a proud man  but he also have the balls to bow down and admit defeat. At first he did not want to be near Jin Hee and working with her made him feel like it was hell but once he realized what charm Jin Hee has on him he was not afraid to admit it and to fight for it. There may be instances in our life that we say to ourselves that “I will never go through that again “, but just like Chan Min we have to know when fate defeats us and take action to have it once again.

Just like Ji Hye......

This girl is a smart one not to mention pretty and nice. Ji Hye is someone who has a  big heart for everyone. She knows the art of listening and giving sensible advice. I really like Ji Hye and I admire how she handles her love for Chun Soo. She loves him deeply but she knows how to step back and wait. Knowing when and how to wait for the right time, let’s do it just like Ji Hye....

The many couples in Emergency Couple....

With all that let me say goodbye to all the couples I have come to love in the show....

And lastly our favorite couple they may have gone through a lot of ups and downs but now are more wiser. Chang Min and Jin Hee found eachother again and just like their emergency cases in the hospital, they were able to revive the love they thought was already lost.
